Welcome to "Conversation 101", the jumping-off point for Beyond Curricula! This was DEFINITELY the most difficult page to assemble. What we've tried to build here is a one-page study (combined with Kenny G's "Auld Lang Syne: The Millenium Mix") that would increase your conversant knowledge and whet your appetite to continue. If, however, this is as far as you get, you should find yourself well on the way to building better conversation skills.
Before you work through this page, please read this (click here) and watch our Kenny G music video (or it can be watched in a larger size on our Home page). After you've watched the video, click here to read its lyrics (or read them from the Home page). Then you'll be ready to come back to this page and start your study.
Here's a website that you might find helpful and interesting. Not essential for Conversation 101, but they offer a fresh approach to the study of history. www.pophistorydig.com
