British History
To become conversantly knowledgeable about British History, you must first begin with the understanding that the topic is one of immense proportion. Since our study is designed to give you only a passing acquaintance with a variety of topics, we'll try to keep it simple. Since this is a favorite topic of ours, we'll be adding pages, in the coming months, to highlight interesting episodes in the history of Great Britain. And don't leave without looking at our Abolition and Regency Era pages.

First, a simple reading of the names of England's long list of Kings & Queens. Next, a quick read-through of the names of England's counties. Now that you've got people and places covered, let's look a little closer. A list of Prime Ministers and Queen Victoria's descendants, and you're on your way. Listen to a few famous speeches, and spend as much time as you can on the BBC British History website (link to the left). The United Kingdom has a rich and varied history that's sure to please the student in all of us. Oh, yes, and before you leave, you've just got to watch at least one episode of Richard Greene as Robin Hood.
